The Kastaplast K1 Malm is a overstable fairway driver designed with experienced players in mind, but it also serves as a great utility disc for intermediate players. With flight numbers of 10/4/0/2.5, it fits between the Stål and Guld in their lineup.
The name "Malm" was chosen because the city center of Stockholm is surrounded by four districts—Norrmalm, Södermalm, Östermalm, and Västermalm—historically referred to as malmar. Additionally, malm means "ore," connecting the disc to Kastaplasts metal-themed naming tradition and the northern regions of Sweden, known for their vast iron ore fields—the birthplace of Kastaplast discs.
