The Innova DX Sonic is an understable putt and approach disc. It is based on the Hero 235 canine freestyle disc which is also a great disc for kids to learn to throw. The Sonic has a comfortable low profile grip with great thumb traction. As a putter, the Sonic has a nice straight flight and sticks well in the chains. The Sonic also makes a versatile short range approach and escape disc when thrown sidearm or backhand. For longer approaches, it has a slow predictable turn and likes to land flat for very few roll-aways. This disc golf putter is very beginner friendly.
It is a great choice for beginners, short to medium approach shots, tailwind upshots, putting, and jump putts.

About DX plastic - discs are affordably priced and provide an excellent grip in all types of weather conditions. Over time, DX discs will take on new and varied flight characteristics that stem from their use. They start out more overstable, but with use will match the flight ratings. With continued use, they'll eventually become more understable than the ratings.
"A great utility disc that has been a part of my golf bag for years. I use it for long putts and short upshots, especially on very hilly terrain where it is very important to land flat. The Sonic is very easy to throw. It will fly straight for most of its flight, with very little fade." - Brian Schweberger
