Discraft Meteor - ESP
The Discraft ESP Meteor is an understable mid range driver (-0.5). It is one of Discraft's most popular understable midranges, and delivers incredible glide. The Meteor fits nicely into Discraft's midrange lineup next to the Comet. It delivers steady, controlled turnovers with a lot of glide. Release it at a seven o'clock angle for a nice smooth hyzer. It was the 2006 Ace Race Prototype. Beginner friendly disc golf driver.
Speed 5, Glide 5, Turn -3, Fade 1
NEW ESP plastic, redesigned in 2018, features improved durability and strength, tackier grip and unique swirl color combinations.
What others have said:
"I like the Meteor for straight and anhyzer shots. Once again Discraft shows that it has more expertise in delivering performance discs to players with less arm speed -- which is most everyone besides the biggest arms -- and the Meteor is a welcome addition to my bag." - C.R. Willey
"The best midrange I have ever thrown. Probably the best disc I have ever thrown since I started playing disc golf. Every time I have the Meteor in my hand, I have the confidence that great shots are bound to happen. Pure straight shots, slow turnovers, pop-up hyzer shots. The workhorse in my bag." - Chase Jernigan
"The Meteor has great lift! You barely have to throw it and it just rides. It holds a beautiful line and is super controllable." - Jon Drummond
"Meteor is a must throw disc. The glide is amazing; the biggest problem with the Meteor is that it is easy to throw it too far! The Meteor is the disc to use when the fairway forces you to throw a left to right shot." - Chris Smith
