In the mid 1970's, DGA founder and father of disc golf, "Steady Ed," invented the disc golf basket that formalized the sport of disc golf!

DGA offers many baskets from heavy duty park quality to light weight portable as well as a mini basket.

The DGA Mach Series baskets are heavy-duty and designed for outdoor park and recreation settings where they get constant play, banging of the chains and abuse. DGA uses the highest quality manufacturing and Hot-dipped galvanizing methods from head-to-toe, providing the ultimate all-weather protection, decade after decade. Even the colorful Hammertone powder coated disc golf baskets are hot-dipped galvanized first to insure long-lasting weather protection. Each Mach Series basket is hand inspected for quality and guaranteed for 20 years against failure due to rust and corrosion. They come in 4 models: the Mach II, Mach III, Mach V and Mach X.

The Mach II is available in the Portable only.

The Mach III, V and X are available in these three mounting options:

• No Frills - Permanent and Not Removable - designed to be cemented directly into the ground. These baskets are not easily removable.
• Deluxe - Permanent and Removable - An anchor (installation tube) with a locking tab is cemented directly into the ground. A locking collar attaches to the pole. The pole with locking collar fits into the anchor then tabs lock together.
• Portable - Free standing and portable with its integrated industrial strength base wheel.

The M-14 is lighter weight portable disc golf basket designed to be used as back yard practice baskets. It is all metal and snaps together with three spring-loaded buttons. It's easily portable and great for taking to picnics and parties.

The Mach Lite is their lightest weight portable basket that can fold in on itself like an umbrella and comes with a shoulder bag. It is the easiest to take with you anywhere you go.

The DGA Mini basket is used for mini disc golf, played with mini markers. It also makes a great trophy to give away at tournaments.

All DGA baskets (except the Mini) are PDGA approved for tournament play.
