Mid Range Drivers are thicker than distance drivers and fairway drivers, but not as thick as putt and approach discs. Also, the profiles of mid range drivers are less sharp. They don't fly as fast and are recommend for beginners because they are easier to control than longer range drivers. They also make great multi-purpose discs meaning a player can play the entire course with just one disc. Millennium's Mid Range Drivers stand out when it comes to supreme control and accuracy.

We recommend light weight, mid range drivers that are Drift (understable) and in Standard plastic for beginners.

  • Lighter weight discs are easier to control and won't have as strong a tendency to fade or curve.
  • Mid range drivers are easier to learn and control for players with little or no experience.
  • Drift discs are the most beginner friendly. They have a tendency to turn right when thrown flat, straight and with average power for right handed back hand (RHBH) throws. (Opposite for lefties.) Some stable discs are beginner friendly too. But avoid overstable discs until you gain some experience.
  • Standard plastic discs are less expensive if you lose one; Quantum and Sirius discs exhibit more Fade.
